Temple Recommend Renewal
After receiving a renewal recommend from a bishopric member, please contact Bro. Tom Kanooth (Stake Asst. Executive Secretary) for an appointment with a stake presidency counselor. Call or text {360} 601-9287 (prior to 9pm) or email interview@vwes.org and indicate your availability for the upcoming 3 weeks.
Temple Recommend for Own Endowment/Sealing (Living Ordinance)
After receiving your temple recommend from your bishop (with attached living-ordinance form), please contact Bro. Eric Bradford (Stake Executive Secretary) for an appointment with the stake president. Email sp-interview@vwes.org or text {360} 567-7621 and indicate your availability for the upcoming 3 weeks. Also, include the following info:
Please indicate if the recommend is for your own endowment, a sealing to a spouse, or a family sealing.
If you've already scheduled a session with the temple, please provide that date.
If your recommend is for a sealing to a spouse, your fiancée/spouse will also require a Living Ordinance recommend -- please indicate if they are a member of the stake, and if they are, include their name & ward.
If your recommend is for a family sealing, please provide the names & ages of those to be included in the interview -- this should match up with the recommends provided by your bishop.
Melchizedek Priesthood Interview
After meeting with your bishop, please follow one of the steps below based on your situation. Also, ensure your temple recommend is current (if expired, please first contact your bishop to have it renewed):
If you're ready to submit a mission application (or will be very soon), the MP interview will be part of your mission interview with the stake president.
If you're not submitting a mission application (or it may be awhile before it's ready), please contact Bro. Tom Kanooth (Stake Asst. Executive Secretary) for an appointment with a stake presidency counselor. Endorsement (for application to BYU/Church Schools & Pathway)
These appointments can be scheduled after receiving an endorsement from your bishop and verifying your temple recommend is current (if expired, please first contact a bishopric member to have it renewed). Once ready, contact Bro. Tom Kanooth (Stake Asst. Executive Secretary) for an appointment with a stake presidency counselor.
